Happy BIrthday with Leafy Wreath by Steph

Hi everyone, Steph here today showcasing some of the new products available in the store.

Have you seen the new wood elements yet?  I used the Leafy Wreath, coloring it with Imagine VersaFine Clair in Pinecone.  There are 6 different designs in this package so you have lots of creative opportunities.

Placing the stencil on a white panel, I inked it with blue ink.  A doily was added on top and the Leafy Wreath was placed on top.  The sentiment is from the Happy Birthday stamp set which was stamped and die cut then added to the card. 

A sweet birthday card don't you think?

Using Stencils to Create Backgrounds

Hi everyone, 
Steph Ackerman here today using stencils to create backgrounds.

Stencils can be used to create amazing, one of a kind, patterns for your cards.

Using -------stencil, I placed it on white cardstock and spritzed it with several colors of Fireworks! colors.   Then I flipped over the inked stencil onto another piece of cardstock and used a brayer to release the ink creating a negative effect.  The photo on the left is the original spritzed stencil.  Next, I matted each piece with cardstock

I inked the Leafy Wreath embellishments with Brilliance Gold Ink.

I stamped butterflies from the Happy Fly stamp set and colored them with Memento Markers.  I die cut each and matted with a larger die, then added the Leafy Wreath around the butterflies.

 The panel were wrapped with ribbon and twine and the butterfly pieces were added.  

Fly High was stamped, inked and matted then added to the cards. Don't they look pretty?

Togetherness is hapiness card

Hi friends,

Bhavani Balaji here. After a long time i have come up with a card using our newly launched white chip boards and card stock. The card measures 4-1/2" x 6-3/4".

Very simple and easy card. 

Steps:

• Take cherry red card stock measures 9" x 6-3/4". Fold it into half. 
• Choose a coordinating pattern paper from your stash measure 4-1/4 x 6-1/2. Stick it on the front side of the card stock
• With the same CS i have the shape of the petal to make calla lilies. 
• Mist it with little water and shape it like calla lilies and insert a pollen in the centre.
• I have chosen the leafy wreath white chipboard and a circled sentiments "Togetherness is happiness" sentiment .
• Also i have collect few metal embellishments from your stash and finish the card as per the layout of the card
• The big rose flower is a ready made mulberry flower and leaves are die cut leaves

All these calla lilies are hand made using red card stock, Then i painted using pink Chalk paint to break the monotonous of the same color CS
