Twinkling star- Photo tutorial

Hey Hi Hello everyone ,

This is Tatyana here today to share altered box photo tutorial for you people.. without delay lets look in to the project , its a perfect gift for  New Year.. few glimpse here

I brought in small boxes, cardboard and textiles. And she created a convenient jewelry box.
I used Metallic Paint and ArtMedium to create a texture paste.
I painted glass stones with Metallic Paint for decoration.

I painted decorative stones with gold paint and added them as a decoration at the very end.
I used only white and black jesso. But my box turned out to be very bright.
You will be able to repeat this project with professional materials from the EC.

Photo Tutorial- Altered Wooden Box by Ruchi's Crafeteria

Hello everyone!!
Ruchi here from Ruchi's Crafeteria and sharing my DT project with all of you. Today I've altered a wooden box into an antic jewelry box in vintage look, using Expressions Craft versatile products.

It's a picture tutorial for you. So let's get crafty and enjoy the tutorial!!

First I've arranged some elements like die cut pieces, Deco Stones, Glass Nuggets, Chipboard flowers, paper flowers, Mica Flakes- Clear and some beads and pasted them on my box using Matte Gel Medium.

Applied Texture Paste using Doodles stencil for creating some patterns on the box. Used Crackle paste too here and there for some more interest.

When it dried, applied White gesso all over to my box for sealing and giving even look.

When all the layers dried, started coloring the box using immix Chalk Paints- Military Brown & Princess Turquoise and Moonlight Silver Shimmer Metallic Paint.

I've just touched up with Soft Glitter Gold Shimmer Metallic Paint for highlighting some parts and elements of the box. Added some Expressions Craft handmade flowers, half pearls, sequins and stamped print here n there to give interest to patterns.

See you all next time with more inspirations.

Mixed Media altered MDF box

Hello Everyone,
This is DT Archana here,
Today I have another mixed media project for you all, I have altered MDF box, so lets get started:

Supplies used:
MDF Box
Immix Ground Texture Paste "Natural Desert"
Expressions Craft chipboards Gear
Immix Chalk Paint " Periwinkle", "Sea Foam"
Immix Metallic Paints "Holiday Gold", "Purple Affair"
Metal embellishment

On a MDF box I spread Immix ground texture paste using palate knife randomly, I have covered box's sides as well as you can see in below pictures

Next I adhere expressions craft chipboard embellishment as well as negative chipboard on the box forming a random composition and for focal point I also adhere circle shaped chipboard

Once I am happy with the composition I have covered entire box using Immix chalk paint, so here I instead of gesso I used chalk paint because chalk paint also works as primer too.. I really love the combination of these both chalk paints...

To give highlight I used Immix metallic paints, First I applied "Purple Affair" paint using dry brush technique and then I used "Holiday Gold" again using same technique

Next I colored Metal embellishment using same metallic paint shade, I also stamped sentiment and glued it on circle chipboard and then also adhere metal embellishment, and here is the final look...

That's it from my end today, Hope you guys have enjoyed this process, do participate in our ongoing challenge and get a chance to win exciting goodie bag from us, I will be back till then bye-bye, Take care and Happy Crafting
