Rusty Treasure Boxes

Hello everyone!!
Ruchi here from Ruchi's Crafeteria and I'm back with my another DT project.
This time I've created treasure boxes in rusty look. This post gonna be helpful for you to up-cycle your empty cardboard boxes into a beautiful piece of art :)
Have a look at them...

I've used Sculptor Tex medium for gluing all the elements like chipboards, flowers & leaves, deco stones, burlap and fabrics from immix fabric pack, chipboards negatives ( cut them in brick and leaf shapes ) and some charms, chains, buttons, dew drops, paper die cuts from my stash.

Ones dried...I've applied a coat of black gesso all over my boxes. You can add water in it for diluting it a bit. I've added water for applying my first coat of gesso and then applied another layer of it without water.

I've used immix metallic paints- Disco Rose, Purple Affair, Unicorn Pink and Bronze Moon for coloring these boxes and gave them rusty look.

Lastly sprinkled some Fairy Dust on them to give some more shine.

I've captured all the process in a video. You can watch the tutorial here

That's it for today. Hope you like my today's project.
See you all next time with more inspirations.
Happy Crafting!!

DIY | Wreath | Challenge Inspiration | Immix Metallics

Hello DIY'ers 🙂
Today I am on Expressions Craft Blog with a quick video tutorial on how to decorate your own Wreath.
I created this project as an inspiration for the ongoing blog challenge at Expressions craft- Anything goes with the theme "Celebrate" Using Immix products.
You can find all the challenge info here
I created this wreath with the sentiment chippie "wonderful life" to go with the theme..  My idea of celebration is to celebrate our wonderful life and all the little things in it ☺
The newly launched buttery and shimmery metallic paints range is my latest favourite next to the awesome chalk paints.  You can see how much I used the forest green and ancient gold metallic paints already 😅
I also added lot of chippies and handmade flowers along with deco stones.
Watch the detailed process on how I made the wreath here

Glittery Peach Foam flowers

Hello Guys 🙂

I am Manasa Priya from Upcycled.  Today I am here to share a quick tutorial on foam flower making using Immix Magic Sparks.

The festival season has begun and I am sure you guys are thinking of ways to wrap  little gifts or sweets and savouries for your friends and family.

So,  here I am with an inspiration on how to decorate a jar lid to pack little things for gifting.

For this project I chose to make flowers from scratch   so that they can be customized to colors,  sizes and can be done in large quantities.

I used the Immix Sponge daubers and Glitters- Immix Magic Sparks from Expressions craft for making these peach sugar flowers.

So I quickly applied some white gesso onto the jar lid.  Once dry,  I added the chalk paint coral peony. Now i randomly placed flowers on the lid and filled the spaces with chipboard swirls and Deco stones mini from expressions craft.   It was as simple as that.

Did you guys checkout this months blog challenge at Expressions craft blog yet?  Anything goes with Glitters from Immix.  Maybe you can draw some inspiration from this project and participate in the challenge 🙂

Here is the link to a detailed tutorial on how you can make these foam flowers using minimum supplies in a quick and easy manner 😀

I hope you enjoyed watching the tutorial.  Please let me know your thoughts in the comments section below.

Until next time ..❤

Upcycling with Decoupage papers

Hello everyone! Shylaa here today with a upcycled chocolate box that highlights the Mandala decoupage papers from our store. This decoupage papers are of 100 gsm with a textured background. It adheres well with any base material.

Over to my box, I know you all love Ferrero chocolates. I usually store these boxes for up-cycling it later. Here is my way of  recycled/up-cycled Ferrero Rocher box.

Here we go with steps of transforming the box

Step1: I took the decoupage paper and measured it to the size of the box and removed the excess portion of it
Step 2: I gave a coat of gesso over the box and dried it using heat gun
Step 3: I used Modpodge to stick the decoupage over it
Step 4. To the sides i applied chalk paint and then applied a coat of modpodge completely over the box.

Hope you like it
