Mixed Media altered canvas

Hey guys,
Welcome back, This is Creative Designer Archana Sehgal here, Today I am going to share another simple yet beautiful project, So this is what I have created:

Supplies used :
2 Canvas boards
Expressions craft Stencil
Glass beads texture gel medium
Ice and Snow Ground texture paste
Immix White gesso
Expression Craft Chipboard embellishment
Immix Deco stones
Resin casting
Immix Chroma Burst "Cranberry Kiss", "Coral Reef", "Ice Plant", "Golden Yellow"
Immix sprinkle mist " Chimney Smoke"

I took 2 canvas board of different size canvas and glue down small one on the top of bigger one (this will add more dimensional look on the project) and then I created texture using stencil and Immix ground texture paste "Ice and Snow" and also spread little amount of glass beads gel medium randomly using palate knife...

Next I adhere resin embellishment, Immix Deco stones and chipboard on to the canvas and then covered entire canvas using Immix white gesso

To colored the canvas I used Immix Chroma Burst "Cranberry Kiss", "Coral Reef", "Ice Plant", "Golden Yellow" and Immix sprinkle mist " Chimney Smoke"

To pop out the dimensional parts I applied white gesso using dry brush technique and finished this canvas by adding a sentiment..

Mixed Media Triangular Canvas

Hey guys, Welcome back, This is DT Archana here, and I am back with another super simple Mixed media triangular canvas using our newly launched ground texture paste, I also used crackle texture paste, so lets get started...

This is what I have created :

So lets get started, To start with I first glued down my focal point that is Buddha casting, for gluing all my embellishments I used Immix gel medium gloss, and to create texture (spread using palate knife) on the canvas I used Immix newly launched ground texture paste "Natural Desert", "Mud brown" I also arrange some seashells, soda bottle caps, deco stones too..

Next I covered entire canvas using Immix white gesso and also used crackle texture paste

To color the canvas I used another amazing product Immix chroma Burst, I choose 4 shades here, namely "Fresh Water", "Tea Cup Teal", "Woodland Bay", "Blue Lagoon".. I just sprinkle this shades on to the canvas and sprayed some water to get them activated, This way  I got nice blended look...

Once its dries completely I applied Immix white gesso using dry brush technique, This step will highlight the dimensional part or textural part of canvas.

and this is how I finished this mixed media canvas, here are some more pictures of this projects:

hope you guys have enjoyed this process, If this project inspires you to create something then do share with us, I will be back till then bye bye, Take care..

Happy crafting

Vintage style mixed media kitchen wall decor

Hello crafty friend,

Happy weekend to all, hope u all are enjoying posts from Expressions craft and getting inspired to make beautiful projects.

I am Sabiha Khan back with a Vintage style mixed media Wall decor for your Kitchen...

Lets have a look at my wall decor first...

I have used all newly launched Expressions craft Mixed Media products under the brand name IMMIX.

I would like to share few more close ups of my project...

One step at a time-

1. I took a MDF base for my project.

2. Applied IMMIX heavy black gesso and let it dry. Then took some texture paste and crackle texture paste from IMMIX Expressions craft and applied randomly over my board.

3. To create texture when the texture paste was wet, pressed some jute cloth over it and removed it. You get a fine jute texture on the board. Now let it dry.
4.Took some chippie negatives which were left behind after using the chippies. Cut them into small pieces and adhered them on the board. I have also added some star dangler chippies and few stars too.
5.After I was satisfied with the layout, covered all chippies with heavy black gesso too.

6.After it was dry. Applied IMMIX heavy white gesso all over my layout.

7. Took two wooden spoons and applied black and white gesso too.

8. After the spoons were dry applied some IMMIX crackle paste over them, as you can see in the pics. Coloured the spoons with Sprinkle mists Burnt orange and Chest Nut.

9. I have used three IMMIX Sprinkle Mists to colour my project.
Citrus yellow
Chest Nut
Burnt Orange

10. After I was satisfied with the colours applied some black paint on the edges and randomly all over the textures with my finger to highlight the textures.

11. Finally adhered the spoons on the board and decorated it with Expressions craft sentiment chippie "Favourite Recipes" Few Expressions craft botanical melange shimmer flowers and some satin ribbon bows.

12. And yes, I think the project is never complete without some Deco stones ,I have used mini stones here, a favourite product of all the crafters.

Hope u loved to read my post...

Thanks for visiting, please comment below if liked my project and post.

Love ,
