Then used Craft stencils and applied texture paste on the canvas.

Then a colored decor elements, chipboard with Immix heavy gesso white. After, all of them was glued on base.

Then, I used Immix crackle texture paste on some places.

After, I colored they with Chroma Burst. I used colors: Choco Truffle, Fresh Lime Dream, Gamma Black, Fresh Water and Golden Glow.

With Immix heavy gesso white was added texture.

At the top I add Handmade Flower with Deco stones (Mega, Medium, Micro and Mini size) and Glass Nuggets.

In the end I add some colors. I used Chroma Burst to color the elements for detailing.

Some stamps as final detail - and the work was complete.

Royal Jewellery Box - How to create background with Chroma Burst ...

Hello,

How are you doing? Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Today I am at Expressions Craft Blog with my Pictorial. I have Altered a wooden box for a Groom to give a Wedding Gift. Used beautiful Royal Decoupage Paper from Expressions craft collection of "JAIPUR"...

Today I will show you how to create a background with just CHROMA BURST ( newly launched products of IMMIX ) for your decoupage artworks.  Chroma Burst is must-have products for your collection. They are very versatile and easy to use.

Here I will show step by step to use them...

1) First I gave a coat of Heavy Black Gesso from IMMIX and cut my decoupage paper as per the size of the box.

2) Now for the second step, I have applied Art Gloss Medium ( gloss) to stick the paper on the box. It gives perfect finishing and there is no need for specific decoupage glue.

3) Next step is to create a background on the sides of the box with texture paste and stencils with a knife.

Now I want a little texture on the decoupage paper too. So I selected the colours from Chroma Burst related to my paper and mixed with Texture Paste to create a colourful Texture.

4) Colour the Background. To the sides of the box on white texture paste, I have sprinkled Chroma Burst and Water and Create a vibrant background.

Even sprinkled on the lid of the box too to give depth on texture.

5) Now I have selected Decorative Embellishments from IMMIX to create more interest and to go with a theme. I cut them accordingly space. And again applied chroma burst and water on it and dried with a heat gun before sticking it.

6) The front side of the box I have very little space to do texture so I did stencilling with Metalic colours to give that perfect shine. Metallic colours are also so rich and creamy. They are very easy to use and play for our artworks.

Do you know how I got this golden shine on the side of the box? I dint use any Wax or anything... just applied gold metallic colour with my finger. and it's done.

So simply with Chroma Burst, I created my whole background and texture. It's very versatile and easy to use. Chroma Burst has many shades to play with them. Do give a try...

Thank You,
