Altered Record with Chroma Burst

Hi dear crafters, for today I altered an old vinyl record, using all kinds of Craft Expressions goodies.

Pictorial- Vertical Canvas For Beginners Of Mixed Media

Hello everyone!!

Ruchi here from Ruchi's Crafeteria and sharing my DT project with all of you.
I've created a mixed media vertical canvas. Used Expressions Craft versatile products.

It's a pictorial for you :)

Picked a canvas and applied White Gesso. When dried, created texture using Texture Paste, Crackled Texture pastes along with Funky Flower stencil.

Added Ground Texture Paste- Natural Desert, Deco stones- Mini & Micro, burlap string, metal charm, glass nugget, and some chipboards.
Used Art Medium Gel- Matte for gluing them.

When all elements dried, I've coated all with White Gesso (forgot to take a pic of this step)
Sprayed Sprinkle Mists- Dark Purple, Burnt Orange, and Citrus Yellow.

For more depth and highlighting some elements, added Metallic Paints- Moonlight Silver and Disco Rose.
Lastly added some beads and rhinestones to finish the look of my canvas.

Altered Art & Coasters With Chalk Paints

Hello everyone!!

Ruchi here from Ruchi's Crafeteria and I'm back with my another DT project.

This time I've created two projects 'Altered Art- Wall Piece' and 'Mandala Coasters' using immix Chalk Paints.

Have a look..

I've focused on immix Chalk Paints and applied them on different surfaces like paper, chipboards, cardboards, canvas, deco stones, flowers and all. You can use them for creating backgrounds using Expressions Craft beautiful stencils or just use them as a coloring medium.

My first project is an Altered Art - Wall Piece. For this I've used Curcumin Yellow and Coral Peony Chalk Paints from Expressions Craft. There are such bright colors and easy to apply. Drys fast and odor free.

I've applied these chalk paints on Expressions Craft Deco Stones, handmade flowers and leaves, Leafy Wreath & Clock chipboards and trust me..they work well on any crafty surface.

Now let's move to my another project using immix chalk paints. I've created few coasters creating dot mandalas using these chalk paints.

I've used Curcumin Yellow, Coral Peony, Champagne Linen, Military Brown, Baby Blue, Azure and Cotton Candy Chalk Paints from Expressions Craft.

Card with floral stencil

Happy friday everyone ,

I am Sheetal back with my GDT post today

I made a card for Mother's day using Expressions craft Stencils and the chipboard sentiment.

Steps involved

Step 1: I took a black cardstock of 5 by 12 inches and folded it into half to make a base card.

Step 2: I took a white cardstock of a size a bit smaller than the base Black card

Step 3: I grabbed a beautiful floral stencil from expression craft. I has to different designs in one piece. I used both the designs on each half of the white cardstock..i used pink and olive distress ink to give the effects..

Step 4: I used the Happy Mother's day cut out from the chipboard collection and applied black acrylic paint on it and let it dry.Finally pasted it on the centre of the card.

Step 5: Lastly I used few dew drops from my stash and applied it to the sides of the card.

Simple cards using stencils and stamps

Hello dear friends,

I am back with some simple but elegant cards using Expressions craft stencils and stamps.

Here I have used beautiful "Funky flower" stencil and "Pine cone" stencil for the background and "Wild flower" and "Love Boat" stamp sets too.

First have a look at both my cards ......

These cards are super simple to make .....

Lets see how..

I took a water color cardstock for the base and used stencils to create my backgrounds for both the cards.

I have used distress inks and distress oxides to create the stencilled backgrounds.

For the first couple card......Stamped the image and coloured it with Zig markers.Fussy cut the image and made waves out of a blue cardstock. Adhered the waves with double sided tapes to give it a raised look and placed the couple in boat image beneath it, as seen in the card. Finally stamped the sentiment Be Mine with archieval black ink.

Some more close ups .....

For the floral card....Stamped the wild flower image with versafine ink on a black cardstock and heat embossed it with Ranger gold embossing powder. Did the same with the sentiment "Just for you". Fussy cut the images and adhered them on the card.
