" Beyond dreams" Mixed media gear

 Hello all,

This is Madhurima here and I am sharing with you a mixed media project done on MDF gear. Here I have tried to keep the composition really simple and have greatly focused on the importance of negative (white ) space. Keeping a great amount of negative space in your project really helps to draw ones' eye towards the focal part. For the main composition, I have used chipboard from expressions craft along with a couple of handmade flowers. To add a bit of rust effect I have also used chalk paints in shades brown, grey and black along with metallic paints in shades of red, orange and yellow. Finally to bring everything together and to add highlights I have dry brushed the entire project using white gesso.  Here are a few close-up pictures of the project.

Altered Christmas Box

 Hello everyone!This is Sneha here.Today I am getting in the mood of the festival season. I created a Christmas gift box using old sweet box using classic red green and white combination for the box . I used lot of chipboards with embossing powder metallic sprays, lushful-eden paper, and beautiful handmade flowers. I used beautiful Christmas collection chipboards. This is the perfect time to use them in your projects.I created cluster of chipboards ad flowers at the front and and inside the box.

Take the scenic route - Beach under the sea mixed media shadow box

Hello crafty friends this is Sneha. Today I am here to share my latest project. I created a mixed media layout on hexagonal board giving it a see theme. I used a lot of expressions craft products chipboards, chalk-paints, handmade-flowers, Metallic Sprays, Embossing Powder. Used beautiful design stencil, Texture Paste giving it more interest.

"Finders keepers" Altered spooky box

 Hey guys,

It's Madhurima here and today I am sharing with you all a mixed media altered box. I was having this box in my stash for quite a long time and this time I decided to give it a spooky make-over.

Sounds fun, right !!!

I have used different chipboards from Expressions Craft to make the main composition. This time I have used metallic paints to add color and sheen to the project.
