Hello all,
This is Madhurima here and I am sharing with you a mixed media project done on MDF gear. Here I have tried to keep the composition really simple and have greatly focused on the importance of negative (white ) space. Keeping a great amount of negative space in your project really helps to draw ones' eye towards the focal part. For the main composition, I have used chipboard from expressions craft along with a couple of handmade flowers. To add a bit of rust effect I have also used chalk paints in shades brown, grey and black along with metallic paints in shades of red, orange and yellow. Finally to bring everything together and to add highlights I have dry brushed the entire project using white gesso. Here are a few close-up pictures of the project.
