Mixed Media Home Decor

Hello all!!

This is Sneha Apte creative designer here with my new project . A home décor canvas for you for your favorite wall in your house.

I created this project on the a very different canvas which is triangle in shape. Which was also new to me.

For the textures at the background I spread the ice and snow paste with a palette knife over new released stencil. 

After that I use Chroma burst to color my canvas which are highly pigmented powder colors. 

To built my composition I used beautiful chipboards covering them with new embossing powder. With some hand made flowers.

Mixed Media Sea Shell Canvas

Hi Friends, 

For today's tutorial I Have made a Sea Shell themed reverse canvas.  loaded the project with textures and texture pastes from Expressions Craft.

CHRONICLES- Altered Mixed Media box

Canvas Art For Beginners 'Sea Shore'

Hello everyone!!

Ruchi here from Ruchi's Crafeteria and I'm back with my another DT project. 

This time I've created A Canvas Art for beginners who wants to try their hands in Mixed Media art but don't know how and where to start. This post gonna be helpful for you and at the end you will get lots of ideas to try for :)

I adhered all the junk pieces using immix gel medium. It's a versatile product and can be use for gluing, sealant, can mix with chalk paints and metallic paints. Possibilities are endless. 

I've used weave stencil along with texture paste to create waves on my canvas. This paste dries quickly and gives you even and smooth finish. You can find this paste on Expressions Craft store. I've mentioned the link of that product at the end of this post.

To give some sea colors.. I've applied Deep Teal blue sprinkle mist and Hunter Green metallic paint. Did a bit stamping and adhered all the other elements like chipboard, flower, beads, pearls and rhinestones to give complete look.

Relief work box

Hi all , this is priya gajjar here today 

I am sharing my new post for March using mediums . I have created this relief work box using dimensional gel medium and gloss medium

First I drew design on the MDF box with a pencil .  Next I mixed dimensional gel medium and art gel medium gloss equally and added dental plaster to it and made a paste . Next I filled the paste in a cone and made the floral design on the box with the cone . After drying it , I applied black gesso all over . Next I dry brushed the entire box with raw umber metallic paint and antique gold metallic paint . Next I sprayed the box randomly with titanium white sprinkle mist 

Next I coloured the flower and leaves using chalk paints , metallic paints , and sprinkle mists .I dry brushed the coloured leaves and flowers again with raw umber and antique gold metallic paint and finally stuck my micro art deco stones and finished my project

DIY Candle Stand with Sculptor Tex

Hello friends, Kanika Jain here.

Today I am sharing a Photo Tutorial  of Candle Stand using SCULPTOR TEX CONTOUR MEDIUM.

So , let’s get started😃

Step 1:- Using Fabric Pack from IMMIX, I took the Grey Cotton cloth & had cut it into smaller stripes.

Step 2:-  I wore Gloves and used the Clear Sculptor Tex Medium to dip my cloth into it & created textures.

Step3:-  Like this I created the Textures👇🏻

Step 4:- 

I adhered these cloth stripes to the base, like this👇🏻

Step 5:- I adhered Deco Stones Mini & Mega using IMMIX Dimensional Heavy Gel.

Step 6:- Using Metallic Paints Tuscan Red, Bronze Moon & Holiday Gold I coloured the project.

Tadaaa..... we are done❤️
