Video Tutorial: Mixed Media Vintage Layout

 I've created a Mixed Media Layout in vintage style. Used Expressions Craft versatile products.

Pictorial- A Layout In Shabby Chic Colors

Hello everyone!!

Ruchi here from Ruchi's Crafeteria and sharing my DT project with all of you.
 I've created a Layout in Shabby Chic style. Used Expressions Craft versatile products.

First I've applied Clear Gesso all over to my pattern paper and then created a textured background using Texture Paste along with Alphabet stencil.

Keep that aside for drying. Applied White Gesso on chipboards- Fancy Swirls and Double Bubble.

When dried, applied Metallic Paints- Blossom Blush &Jingle Shells to my layout.
Heat embossed all the chipboards and applied the same metallic paints here n there.

Took another piece of chipboard Hot Air Balloon and applied Sprinkle Mist- Titanium White and Metallic Paints. And sprinkled Rainbow Sparks glitter.
Chose these Expressions Craft flowers too for decorating my layout.

Picked some Deco Stones and mixed with Art Gel Medium- Gloss and added Jingle Shells metallic paint.

Arranged all the elements together and decorated my layout. Lastly sprinkled Fairy Dust glitter to give some shimmery look.

A Layout 'SweetHeart'

Hello everyone!!

Ruchi here from Ruchi's Crafeteria and I'm back with my another DT project. 

This time I've created a Layout 'SweetHeart' in teal shades.

Have a look..

For this Layout I chose teal shade which is every crafter's favorite color :)

Expressions Craft have Flowers, Chalk Paint, Metallic Paint and Sprinkle Mist in this color and trust me...they look fantastic on any crafting surface like paper, fabric, chipboard, glass, metal and so on.

For my layout base, I chose a pattern paper and then applied Texture Paste along with Diamond stencil to create texture background. When it dried sprinkled Deep Teal Blue Sprinkle Mist.

Applied Mermaid Song and Unicorn Pink metallic paints on chipboards and then embossed them with clear pearl embossing powder.

Expressions Craft chipboards are one quality product and you can apply any coloring medium on that. They are perfect for embossing too.
I first applied metallic paint on the chipboard Sweetheart but later applied a coat of Black Heavy Gesso on that.

I mixed black gesso with water and splattered it on my layout. Added some sequins and pearls for completing the look.

This focal image is from Prima stamp and colored it using Zig markers. Applied my favorite immix Deco Stones- Medium and Micro using immix Art Gel Medium Gloss and sprinkled Alaska Gold and Rainbow Sparks on that. Embellished it using Shabby Crinkle handmade flowers.

Baby Zodiac _ Mixed Media Layout

Hola, 

Manasa Priya back at the Expressions Craft studio with a tutorial on how to Acrylicmake your own baby photo layout.

This particular project can be used as your scrapbook page or can be framed as is.  I plan to frame it up my LO's layout ☺

So,  for this project I picked a white Cardstock from Expressions Craft as a base

The newly launched fabric pack was using for layering,  here I used a burlap sheet to keep my composition very earthy.

And I particularly highlighted the birth date in glitter,  used the premium glitter Alaskan Gold for the same.

Stamped with sentiments pertaining to the baby's Zodiac - Cancer

And all the characteristics pertaining to the sign to add interest along with some script to add to the background.

So here is my quick layout using the chalk paint azure and sprinkle mist deep teal.   I used the heavy gel medium to add textures

Used the art medium to stick all the elements in place.
