Altered frame - video tutorial

Hello crafty folks,
Vidhi Jadeja here. Today I am back with my Video Tutorial at Expressions Craft Blog. I love to alter old stuff. This time I altered an old frame for Christmas Decor. I believe in Fairies and their whimsical world. Love to be there in my dreams. But as its Christmas time so I surrounded my fairies around Christmas tree, snow and snowflakes.

Did you check Expressions Craft latest release of new chipboards! They are just amazing, so delicate , great quality and so cute :) The whole idea to alter a frame is too use this amazing chippies...

Created an amazing texture background with White Crackle paste , Natural dessert paste and Glass beads texture paste, it created more interest in frame.

After that colour them with beautiful Metallic paints which has wonderful shine in it to enhance my project as per celebration. I don't want too bright colours so with white heavy gesso I did dry brushing.

Hope you guys love the procedure.

A Layout 'SweetHeart'

Hello everyone!!
Ruchi here from Ruchi's Crafeteria and I'm back with my another DT project
This time I've created a Layout 'SweetHeart' in teal shades.
Have a look..

For this Layout I chose teal shade which is every crafter's favorite color :)
Expressions Craft have Flowers, Chalk Paint, Metallic Paint and Sprinkle Mist in this color and trust me...they look fantastic on any crafting surface like paper, fabric, chipboard, glass, metal and so on.

For my layout base, I chose a pattern paper and then applied Texture Paste along with Diamond stencil to create texture background. When it dried sprinkled Deep Teal Blue Sprinkle Mist.
Applied Mermaid Song and Unicorn Pink metallic paints on chipboards and then embossed them with clear pearl embossing powder.

Expressions Craft chipboards are one quality product and you can apply any coloring medium on that. They are perfect for embossing too.
I first applied metallic paint on the chipboard Sweetheart but later applied a coat of Black Heavy Gesso on that.

I mixed black gesso with water and splattered it on my layout. Added some sequins and pearls for completing the look.

This focal image is from Prima stamp and colored it using Zig markers. Applied my favorite immix Deco Stones- Medium and Micro using immix Art Gel Medium Gloss and sprinkled Alaska Gold and Rainbow Sparks on that. Embellished it using Shabby Crinkle handmade flowers.

I've captured all the process in a video. You can watch the tutorial here

That's it for today. Hope you like my today's project.
See you all next time with more inspirations.

ATC Tags With immix Sprinkle Mists

Hello everyone!!
Ruchi here from Ruchi's Crafeteria and today I'm sharing my first DT post with all of you.
I've created some Mixed Media ATC Tags using Sprinkle Mists as a primary coloring option.
Have a look..

For these tags.. I've chose cardboard pieces and applied a coat of White Heavy Gesso and then created the background using Texture Paste and Alphabet Stencil.
Applied some Crackle Texture Paste to give some crackled look to my tags.
These all pastes dry fast and give a nice bright look.

I have focused on immix Sprinkle Mists product the most in my project. Used only Mists for coloring. So if you have only Mists in hand, still you can create beautiful crafty projects with basic mixed media supplies. :)

You can use these Sprinkle Mists to any surface like cardboard, chipboard, glass, paper, fabric etc.
I've used on cardboard and Expressions Craft chipboards. These chipboards are from Numbers and Alphabets set.

Used immix Deco Stones- Mega and Micro along with Sprinkle Glitz, Rainbow Sparks and Fairy Dust products. Used immix Gel Medium- Matte for adhering these stones.

I've captured all the process in a video. You can watch the tutorial here
