Hello everyone,
Welcome to the EC blog page. Its Madhurima here and today I am going to share with you all an altered anchor.
For the base I have used a MDF base in the shape of an anchor. Since its the summer has already knocked in what better way to wave off the heat than to think of the oceans and cool sea breezes. Today's project is inspired by the cool sea tones. The composition is made using marine themed EC chipboards along with a few clay embellishments. I have used chalk paints to color the first layers followed by the metallic paints to add that shine and bling to the project. The anchor reminded me of the long lost treasures buried deep within the seabed and how it becomes a temporary home for all the small marine creatures. Hence the name of the project "Lost Treasures".
As usual the product list and the step by step detailed tutorial is attached at the end of this blog. Here I am attaching the picture of my project so that you can enjoy it as well.
