Hello My Dear Friends....

This is Pavitra here with my first blog post. It feels so good to be on this platform with my projects created using the Expressions Craft Supplies.My DT kit for this month comes with some lovely stamps and stencils , the moment i saw them i know what i have to do with them. I created 3 projects ,one tag and two cards.

Here is the card no - 1

For this card i first stamped the butterflies from Happy Fly Stamp set with perfect pearl medium and applied gold perfect pearl powder, that gives my butterflies a golden glow.

Than dabed the distress inks on craft mat, spritz some water and placed the cardstock on top of it for some gorgeous watercolor effect.

Next i diecut a circle and layer the cardstock on yellow cardstock. Stamped the sentiment on a vellum sheet and heat embossed it.

 Stamped the yellow cardstock with butterfly image using distress ink wilted violet and colored it using white pen.

Card no - 2 

For my second card i stencil the iris paper using Flourish Stencil with versamark ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder than foiled it with rose gold and green foil sheet.

Later ink the paper with fossilized amber distress ink. Next layer it on green cardstock and than on red cardstock. Finished it off with a coordinating ribbon.

Tag - you are my perfect mix

For this tag i used my favorite stamp set - Kitchen Accessories ,its such a cute and adorable stamp set. For creating this tag i masked half of the cardstock with masking tape.Dab distress ink fossilized amber , chipped sapphire , hickory smoke on a acrylic block , spritz water and press on the cardstock.

Next stamped the images and sentiment with black archival ink. 

Inked upper half with distress ink Chipped sapphire and on the edges i used inka gold , at last layered it on kraft cardstock.
