Kirti here. This is my bidding farewell post to expressions craft. and i have designed a quirky birthday layout usning floral stencil and circle sentiment by expressions craft. Have a close look on the pictures
Today I am back with another simple yet beautiful and useful project using Expressions craft FLORAL Decoupage paper and newly released IMMIX chalk paints.
Today's project is Tea coasters....
Have a look....
Now lets make these coasters step by step..
1. Took square mdf coasters for the base.
2. Coloured both sides using Coral peony chalk paints from Expressionscraft. You can smooth the base using a sand paper if needed.
3. Now let the paint dry properly.
4. As the paints have a superb consistency it spreads out evenly and gives a large coverage too, so I needed very less paint to cover all the four coasters.
5. I have used floral decoupage paper which is recently released.
6. Took the paper and die cut it (little smaller than the coaster size) with spellbinder's lace squares dies to give the lacy scalloped look.
7. Used decoupage glue to adhere the paper on the coasters.
8. When dry applied distress inks around the edges to give it a finished look.
Now your coasters are done...just apply a layer of varnish to make it waterproof.
Have some more pics ....
Its too simple and easy to make. Go ahead make one using Expressions craft products and you still have time to link your project in ongoing challenge.....HERE

I have used our decoupage paper, chalk paint, kitchen love chipboard embellishment and pinwheel square stencil in this project
Steps involved: 1. On a Cardstock, coat a layer of gesso 2. Add textures using stencils. I have used pinwheel square stencil 3. Add colours - i have sponged the IMMIX Vintage tulip chalk paint and fabrica brown paints and misted it with water 4. To the center i have adhered the La music decoupage paper and added layers with photo and embellished with handmade flowers. The flowers are made with our cherry red cardstock 5. I have used our kitchen love chipboard embellishment. I have added dovecrafts enamel effects over the sentiment. 6. Finish by spritzing white paint, adding deco stones etc.. Some close ups
Hope you are inspired to create something using our products

Now one step at a time, learn to make this.....
* Take a 12" by 12" card stock of your choice and score it and cut it as shown in the figure.
*Fold all the scored lines and stick the folded sides using glue or tacky tape.
*The shadow box is ready. Now take Expressions craft floral decoupage paper cut it and stick it in the center cavity of the box.
*Take "Happy Fathers Day" sentiment chipboard embellishment to adhere in the middle of the fame and enhance its beauty with some frame embellishment, here I have used resin frame.
*Now finally take Floral Border Frame embellishment from Expression's craft and make the beautiful border of your frame.
*I have used few pearls to make center of flowers. They add to the beauty of the border.
These frames can be made with just few steps and Can be made for any such occasion. You just have to change the sentiment.. I also have a small video with step by step pictorial for this beautiful frame.
