Trinket box

Hello crafty friends,

Very happy Wednesday to all of u.Hope you all are busy with your new creations.

I am Sabiha khan, back with some inspirations for you all.

Today I made a trinket box, using Chalk paints, decoupage paper, sprinkle mists, stencil, deco stones and chipboards from Expressions craft.

All the names and products used are listed below...

Lets have a look at my project  first....

I would love to show  you how I made this box in this short tutorial..

A short video of my finished box with all the products used in the project.

Step by Step -

* Take an mdf box and remove the metal lock for easy painting and keeping the lock safe from spoiling while painting your box.

*Apply chalk paint on the lid inside and bottom of the box.

* Cover the bottom half of the box with decoupage paper using decoupage glue. Remove the excess paper using sand paper.

* Now, take a stencil and make desired pattern on top of the box using texture paste.

* Let it dry and then go on adding sprinkle mists till u get the desired colour and look on the top of the box. Don't forget to cover the sides of the lid with a masking tape to protect it from staining.

* After you are done with the lid colour remove masking tape and do some stamping on the sides of the lid. I have also applied some mist colour with brush to get the desired look.

* Finally colour all the chippies you want to decorate the box with and adhere them with gel medium.

* I also used some coloured mini deco stones and few half cut pearls for my box.

Yeh..... its done.
