Rusty Canvas using negative chippies

Hello Friends,

Priya here with you today with a beautiful mixed media photo tutorial. I used some negative chipboard from expressions craft Chipboard to create an interesting piece of art. This involves a lot of layering and coloring this was lot of fun. I created this Canvas using a lot of  immix products

So let's begin the tutorial.
First I took this plain canvas board and gave a coat of  black gesso and I have these negative of chipboard pieces. I glued these to add layers on my canvas with the help of gel medium and gave a coat of immix Crackle paste as you can see in the below pictures.

Then I layered some metal embellishments, some resin pieces and some pieces of corrugated sheet on my canvas. I also added some chipboard embellishments from expressions craft here and there.
I gave a thin layer of crackle paste on the corrugated sheet as well and covered all the embellishments with white gesso as you can see in below pictures.

Then I started coloring the piece using immix sprinkle mists. I used Deep teal blue, Burnt orange and Chestnut colors to create a rust and teal effect matching our moodboard for this month's challenge. You can see these beautiful crackle effect here. I added 3 pieces of shining cabochons to enhance the beauty of this piece.

Here are some more close up pictures of the canvas.

Hope you like my project. Do not forget to enter our challenge this month to win exciting goodies here
