Mixed media canvas with Steampunk

Hello Everyone,

Priya Satish back again on the Expressions Craft Blog with my second Guest Design Project. I have created a mixed media canvas.

My work revolves around the theme, "Great ideas need landing gear as well as wings".

Dream big, set the standards high, spread your wings and soar into the sky. However do add a landing  gear to make them really count.

I have created a video of the process where I have used products from Expressions Craft namely the chipboards, Deco stones, Metallic paints, Sprinkle mist, Crackle Texture Medium, Stencil and stamps.

Watch my video tutorial here

Hope you like it.

Thank you

Mixed media oval frame with angel by Goga Crafts

Hi there!

Today I would like to show you my newest inspiration for Expressions Craft using our new brand products: metallics paints and new colors of chalk paints.

Today I have for you simple mixed media oval frame with angel and blue handmade flowers.

How I did it?
Whole MDF base I covered by heavy white gesso and dried it up.
Then I've create my own mixed media paste using texture paste and two shades of our new chalk paints: Smoky Black and Desert Grape so I received so much lighter colors and used them with our stencils: vintage

Discover Possibilities - Mixed media Art

Hello Crafty Friends,

I'm back with a Mixed media project and the last project of the year 2018. The new year will open doors to new possibilities and we need to discover those. My project is based on this theme.

I took a cake base to begin with and after applying a coat of white gesso, I covered the surface with some coconut coir and layered with corrugated sheet. Then I covered this with white gesso again. Also gave a coat of Crackle paste here and there and let it to dry.

I took a chipboard door from Expressions craft and attached some corrugated sheet around it's frame. After gluing resin pieces at my desired places, I fixed the door and started coloring the piece with Chest nut sprinkle mist and teal and green chalk paints. attached some chipboard pieces from Expressions craft new launch and adhered some flowers to finish the piece. Dry brushed with white gesso a  it once everything is dry.

Hope you like my project.
